Actual MMA started as a way to confront different martial arts disciplines on a direct fight in an Octagon. Boxing, Karate, Muay Thai, JiuJitsu, Kiukushinkai Wrestling athletes and many others would confront their skills and martial art background on a fight with rounds and a few rules.

“MMA is a mix of all martial arts… false!”

MMA was a mix of all martial arts but now it has evolved to a whole different level. MMA has grown exponentially during the last years through the dynamic of the sport itself, and as well on the medias around the world!

The money invested and the profits made out of it made possible a deeper study in all aspects of this sport and its athletes. Looking for the best ways to achieve better performances, turning the best athletic bodies into machines.

Over there, athletes would fight each other realizing that some techniques would predominate over other techniques, making many very effective and others pretty dull. With time some became more important for the sport, like Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling and Bjj. MMA athletes nowadays need to be equally skilled in all these sports, prepared 360′ for an athlete with any martial art background, not doing so will only result on defeat.

On high levels, athletes will train endlessly these sports techniques adapted to MMA! No it’s not enough to train all these sports separately! It’s not enough to train all these sports separately and improvise yourself an MMA athlete or trainer or gym! You cannot train over and over again long boxing close distance combos, because you will end up doing them on a fight, and find yourself smashed on the floor after a suplex! Or even look for a Kimura and get your face smashed with elbows! You can do this only if you train in an MMA drill and you are aware of the risks and you found the moment to do it, otherwise you won’t risk. In MMA train you cannot throw punches unaware of the takedowns, you cannot kick if you’re not sure it will land perfectly and definitely you will not block it! You will not wrestle or grapple not protecting yourself from the hits!

MMA nowadays is all this and much more taken to a sublime level supported by a flawless athlete preparation! Years of performance studies turned MMA in this beautiful bloody and raw sport it is today, and turned its athletes on the most prepared machines ever!

Prepared for everything, prepared for war!
